Warren Projected To Win 31st District Race: Unofficial Results
Voters in the 31st House Legislative District cast votes in Tuesday's general election for state representative.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Incumbent State Representative Perry Warren is projected to win re-election to his fifth term as state representative in the 31st Legislative District, according to unofficial results posted by Bucks County.
The Newtown Borough Democrat faced a challenge on Election Day from Republican Bernie Sauer, a business owner from Newtown Borough.
Warren, who previously served on the Newtown Borough Council, has represented the 31st District as a state representative since 2017.

"I am running for re-election to continue to serve our communities," said Warren. "As a father of five, attorney, teacher, business owner, church leader, borough council member and state representative, I have been responsible for and to other people, created jobs and focused my experience, skills and energy to improve the lives of others. I believe my values and interests are reflective of our communities in working to maintain and improve our educational system, our environment and our economy."
During his campaign, Sauer touted his "experience, temperament, and drive to represent the families of this district the way they deserve. No one will fight harder for the people of this district, and I’m ready to go to Harrisburg and work across the partisan divide to deliver real
results for you, my neighbors."

Sauer also promised to "work as a partner with local law enforcement to make sure they have the resources they need to keep us safe. The brave men and women who put on that uniform each and every day deserve someone fighting for them, and I hope to be that voice in Harrisburg."
With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Warren has 58.9 percent of the vote while Sauer tallied 40 percent. Here are the unofficial numbers:
The 31st Legislative District includes Newtown Township, Newtown Borough, Upper Makefield, Lower Makefield and Yardley Borough.
