Firearm Seized During Traffic Stop: Newtown Twp. Police Report
During a another traffic stop, suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia were discovered and seized and a male passenger was arrested.
NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Newtown Township Police Department reported the following incidents between March 14 and 20:
March 14
- At approximately 2:15 a.m. police conducted a traffic stop on the driver of a Nissan Pick-Up Truck for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Sycamore Street and Richboro Road. As a result of the investigation, suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia were discovered and seized as evidence and a male passenger was arrested.

- At approximately 12 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on the driver of a Chevrolet Malibu for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of the Newtown Bypass and Newtown Gate Drive. A firearm was discovered and seized as evidence. An investigation is ongoing.
