Firefighters Battle Roaring House Fire In Bucks County
Newtown, Northampton and Upper Makefield assisted Yardley-Makefield at the scene of the Farmview fire.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Firefighters from Newtown, Upper Makefield, Langhorne and Northampton were called in to assist Yardley-Makefield at a house fire late Tuesday morning.
Crews were dispatched at 11:30 a.m. to a fire in the Farmview development off of Dolington Road.
Special Service 55 from Newtown arrived, confirmed a working fire, and went into rescue mode after learning that one occupant had gone back inside the house.

Rescue 45 from Newtown arrived minutes later, secured a water supply and started extinguishment. The crew from Newtown Special Service 55 located the occupant and rescued the person from the building. They were transported to the hospital by medics.

Northampton’s crew performed ventilation, ground ladder placement, and suppression functions while maintaining a staffed Rapid Intervention Team throughout the assignment.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Lower Makefield Fire Marshal's Office.
Also responding to the scene were the Lower Makefield Police, Yardley-Makefield Fire Police, Yardley-Makefield EMS, Penndel Middletown EMS and Fire Marshal 225.
