Firefighters Quickly Extinguish Roof Fire In Wrightstown
Firefighters from three companies responded to the scene after a caller reported smoke coming from the top of an attached deck.

WRIGHTSTOWN, PA — Firefighters quickly extinguished a roof fire on Friday at a home in the 100 block of Parsons Lane.

Linghocken Fire Company's Deputy 35 arrived first and reported smoke showing from the dwelling and established command. Joining Lingohocken at the scene were Newtown Fire Rescue, Northampton Township, and Upper Makefield.

Engine 35 arrived and stretched a line to the attached deck. Crews located a small fire in the ceiling and worked to open up the ceiling, extinguish the fire, and check for extension.
The fire crews prevented extension into the residence and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the fire marshal's office.
