Former Employee Sentenced For NAC Thefts

Justin Nusblatt of Doylestown, a former employee of the NAC, stole thousands from the business in 2016, authorities said.

NEWTOWN, PA — A former employee of the Newtown Athletic Club was ordered to serve five years probation after he pleaded no contest to charges related to thefts from the business.

Justin Nusblatt of Doylestown was also ordered to pay $11,045 in restitution to the Newtown Township fitness club.

Bucks County District Attorney's Office spokesperson James O'Malley confirmed he has paid the restitution in full, as well as completed the mandated 25 hours of community service.

He was also ordered to have contact with the Newtown Athletic Club, O'Malley said.

Nusblatt, a former manager of the NAC who served as a sports training director, was charged years after the 2016 thefts.

Police were alerted to the thefts in 2018, and Nusblatt turned himself in to police in June 2019.

An investigation revealed he diverted more than $10,000 from the business by stealing cash payments, police said.
