Go To The NAC For Free Tuesdays In November

Through an initiative called "Together Tuesdays," the Newtown Athletic Club will waive guest fees for adults every Tuesday in November.

NEWTOWN, PA — Curious about what it's like to work out at the Newtown Athletic Club? Non-members can find out next month, during an initiative the club is calling "Together Tuesdays."

On Tuesdays during the month of November, the NAC will waive all guest fees for adults. Community members can come to the NAC free of charge "no matter where you live, what you do or what fitness looks like to you."

You must 24 or older to participate.

"All are welcome to come to the club and participate in any activities of their choosing that are available to NAC members every day," the NAC said in an announcement about Together Tuesdays.

NAC representatives say they hope the initiative allows more members to have a "positive experience with physical activity and socialization, which will ultimately improve their health and wellness."

NAC owner Jim Worthington, a member of the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition, said the group is tasked with improving accessibility and programming for youth sports and adult physical activity.

"We at the NAC are positioned to be at the forefront of this movement and will be developing programs in our community which will be available to all with no barriers for participation. This is important to us and to our country," Worthington said.
