Grownups-Only Screening Of 'Elf' Planned At ​Newtown Theatre

The Newtown Theatre has a special grownups-only​ screening of the popular movie "Elf" planned.

NEWTOWN, PA – The Newtown Theatre has a special "grownups-only" screening of the popular movie "Elf" planned on Friday, Dec. 13.

Only those 21 and older can attend. Doors will open an hour before the movie start time of 9 p.m.

During that hour, moviegoers can enjoy a complementary drink (beer, wine or a signature Elf-themed cocktail) and free popcorn. There will also be a trivia game and a costume contest. Elf-themed prizes will be given for trivia winners, and the best-dressed elf will win a special prize.

Doors will open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at TheNewtownTheatre.com.

The movie features comedian Will Ferrell as "Buddy the Elf." It follows him as he hilariously navigates throughout New York City in search of his father.
