Hearing On Newtown Old Navy Postponed
An application to construct an Old Navy store that was originally scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Tuesday's scheduled Planning Commission hearing on an application to construct an Old Navy at the Newtown Shopping Center has been postponed at the request of the applicant, township officials said.
The shopping center is seeking variances in order to build the 12,500-square-foot Old Navy store near Bed Bath & Beyond, in an area that backs up to the high school.
Plus, the shopping center's application also requests to construct a 385-square-foot addition to the existing Chick-fil-A restaurant on West Road. There will also be roadway improvements to reduce traffic backups by restaurant's drive thru as part of the project.
