It will be “A Night of Dueling Pianos at the historic Newtown Theatre on Friday, March 11 at 8 p.m.
This one-night-only event will feature husband and wife pianists and Newtown residents Steve and Jennifer Luhmann. Their high-energy show will include sing-along classics that will have the audience clapping, singing, and partying along with them.

The Luhmanns met in St. Louis in 2010 when they were first booked together at a local piano bar.
“The first night we met was the first night we played together,” Steve says. “We hit it off right away. We later got engaged outside of the bar, were married in 2016, and had our first baby in 2021.”

“People ask if being married influences our show, but we think how long we have played together is more important than the fact that we’re married,” Jennifer says. “The best dueling piano partners know each other inside and out. That creates a trusted partnership, which ultimately translates to the audience as a better show.
“We have played all over the country, but we can’t wait to play right here in our own backyard,” Jennifer says. “When you come to one of our shows you should expect to be entertained and to get involved. The audience is definitely part of our show. Think of it as a big living room and everyone is there to sing along together.”
Tickets for “A Night of Dueling Pianos” are available at TheNewtownTheatre.com for $25 per person or $20 for theatre members. Any remaining tickets will be sold for $35 at the door on the night of the show (if available). All seating is general admission.
Beer and wine will be available for purchase at the theatre before the show and during intermission. The theatre is located at 120 N. State Street in Newtown Borough.
