Man Faces Theft Charges For Stealing Robot: Warrington Crime Report
Police also arrested 2 juveniles for retail theft and consumption of alcohol and arrested a man on retail theft and drug possession charges.
WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Warrington Township announced the following incidents and arrests for retail theft, possession of narcotics, and underage drinking.
Man Charged With Stealing Robot
- A Philadelphia man is facing charges after he stole a robotic vacuum cleaner from a Warrington Township store. Loss prevention officers at Target told police that 30-year-old Clarance Matthew Murray selected an I Robot Romba 705 valued at $699.99 and left the store without paying for the merchandise. A warrant was issued for Murray’s arrest, and on Oct. 2, he turned himself in to police. He was arraigned and bail was set at $15,000 or 10 percent cash. Murray was unable to post bail and was transported the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
Juveniles Cited For Stealing Alcohol

- Two juveniles have been cited for retail theft and underage possession and consumption of alcohol. Police were notified by loss prevention officers at Wegmans that two juveniles had opened containers of alcohol and concealed them in their backpacks. The same suspects returned later that evening and stole additional alcohol. The total value of the stolen merchandise was $124.93. One of the suspects was identified as a juvenile from Warwick Township.
Retail Theft And Narcotics Arrest
- A Philadelphia man faces multiple charges for retail theft and possession for an incident that happened earlier this month. On Oct. 10, police were patrolling the area of the Walmart when they observed a suspicious man and woman enter the store. Officers alerted loss prevention and they began monitoring the two. The 30-year-old man was observed concealing merchandise in a Duffel bag while the woman concealed items in a trash bag. Police said the two placed the bags in a shopping cart and later abandoned the cart. The man later made a small purchase but failed to pay for the Duffel bag valued at $14. During a subsequent search, suspected narcotics were located on the man. He was taken into custody, transported to the station, and processed. He was later released.
