March Brings Irish Music To The Stage At The Newtown Theatre
Two Irish-themed concerts will feature "Mick's Company: An Afternoon of Irish Music & Humor" and the "Celtic-American roots band RUNA."

NEWTOWN, PA — The historic Newtown Theatre is bringing two Irish-themed concerts to the stage in March. The concerts include:
- “Mick’s Company: An Afternoon of Irish Music & Humor” on Wednesday, March 12 at 3 p.m. This special matinee concert sold out in 2024. Founded more than two decades ago, Mick’s Company is Philadelphia’s most fun Irish band. Concertgoers will enjoy an afternoon of all their favorite Irish songs and humor.
- “Celtic-American roots band RUNA” on Friday, March 28 at 8:00 p.m. Celebrating 14 years together, RUNA continues to push the boundaries of Irish folk music into the Americana and roots music formats. Interweaving the haunting melodies and exuberant tunes of Ireland and Scotland with the lush harmonies and intoxicating rhythms of jazz, bluegrass, flamenco and blues, they offer a thrilling and redefining take on traditional music.
Tickets for both concerts are available at TheNewtownTheatre.com . Beer, wine, and canned cocktails will be available for purchase at the theatre before and during the shows. The theatre is located at 120 N. State Street in Newtown Borough.
