The Hopewell, N.J., based band will bring its "electrifying fusion of acoustic percussive beats and full-band energy" to the streets of historic Newtown.
Bad Hombres have built a loyal following locally as regular performers at the Temperance House, captivating audiences with their diverse range of music that appeals to everyone.
“Don’t miss out on this unforgettable night of music, dancing, and fun,” said Gatta. “Come see this dynamic duo in action and experience the magic for yourself. Bring your friends, your dancing shoes, and your best vibes – it’s going to be a night to remember!”

The series continues August 1 with the Bunker Band sponsored by ATG Abstract, August 8 with Cara Cartney sponsored by Newtown Bicycle Shop, August 15 with the Anders Hyatt Trio sponsored by Triple Sun Spirits, August 22 with John Thomas sponsored by 4EverYoung Anti Aging Solutions and August 29 featuring Meg Russell sponsored by Giovanni’s Fine Fashions and Custom Tailoring.
Throughout the series, the Opus Elite office will be open and offering complementary refreshments and an air conditioned respite inside. “Concert goers are welcome to come in, enjoy the snacks, use the restroom if they need to or just to cool down,” said Gatta.
Concert goers are welcome to bring their own chairs and blankets, order some food to enjoy from a nearby restaurant and find a spot on the sidewalk to enjoy the music, said Gatta.
Gatta said while each performance is free and sponsored by Newtown businesses, he encourages attendees to make a donation to the Opus Outreach Foundation. The foundation supports local families in need, he said.
“There are no administrative costs so every dollar raised goes to the foundation and helping people in the community," Gatta continued. "We also ask that you support our business sponsors because they are the ones providing the free music.”
