NAC To Open Escape Pool, Resort Saturday

NEWTOWN, PA — The Newtown Athletic Club will open its Escape resort and pool this Saturday. Hours will be limited.

In June, the facility will be open Monday through Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, it will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

There will be some special rules in place. For one, there will be no towel service, so members will need to bring their own towels. Lounge chairs will be provided, but members can also bring their own.

Masks are optional but not permitted in the pool.

The use of pool tubes is suspended, but the body slide and lazy river will be open. The hot tub is temporarily closed. The splash pad will be closed, and no puddle jumpers will be provided.

Outside coolers and drinks prohibited and outdoor locker rooms are for restroom use only.

The playground and north field will remain open for additional space and seating, but playing basketball won't be allowed.

No guests will be permitted; the facility use will be for members only.
