New Brewery Slated For April Opening In Newtown

The latest on what we know about Iron Hill's Newtown debut:

NEWTOWN, PA — Iron Hill Brewery's Newtown location, which is under construction in the Village at Newtown Shopping Center, is slated to open by late April, company representatives told Patch this week.

The 7,500-square-foot restaurant will be in the L-shaped addition along West Road, which is currently under construction. It will feature an on-site brewing facility as well as seating for approximately 350 including a bar area, dining room, and outdoor dining space.

Iron Hill has partnered with Boulder, CO-based Bray Architecture to design the brewery.

Iron Hill operates brewpubs that serve craft beers and food at more than a dozen locations across the region. Nearby brewpubs are situated in North Wales, Phoenixville, Ardmore, Huntington Valley, Philadelphia and more. View the full list of locations.

In addition to their own craft beers, the menu features pub fare, such as burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, and a selection of "brewhouse entrees."

Iron Hill will join several new additions to the shopping center, which is currently undergoing a renovation.

Most recently, Solstice restaurant announced it would be opening in the shopping center on March 9.

Bomba Tacos & Rum and Chipotle restaurants are also coming to the shopping center, but a timeframe for those openings is not yet available.
