Newtown Beerfest 2021 To Feature Dozens Of Local Breweries

The annual fundraising event for the Newtown Fire Association is set to return Sept. 18 after it was called off in 2020 amid the pandemic.

NEWTOWN, PA — After taking last year off due to the coronavirus pandemic, Newtown Beerfest is scheduled to return to the borough Sept. 18.

The 12th annual event will showcase craft beers from dozens of local breweries, with 65 establishments at the last Newtown Beerfest in 2019. The Clubhouse, La Stalla Restaurant and The Temperance House will offer food, while Well Strung Rocks is scheduled to perform during the event at The Stocking Works, 410 S. State St.

General admission tickets are available for $45 each. Designated drivers can grab a ticket for $10. General admission starts at 2 p.m., though beer enthusiasts can buy a $75 “First Tap” ticket to get in at 12:30 p.m. Newtown Beerfest runs until 5:30 p.m. Sept. 18.

Attendees will also receive a souvenir beer-tasting glass, according to organizers.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the Clubhouse Bar & Grill, Isaac Newtown’s Restaurant or John’s Barber Shop of Newtown.
