Newtown Fire House To Host Tree Lighting Celebration
Newtown's holiday festivities begin Friday, plus the Santa House returns over several dates in December. See the details.
NEWTOWN, PA — Christmas spirit is back at the Newtown Fire House, as the Tree Lighting Celebration is scheduled for Friday evening with the Newtown Fire Company and Newtown Rotary Club sponsoring the festivities.
The Holiday Celebration & Tree Lighting starts at 7 p.m. at the fire house at 14 Liberty St. Rumor has it, Santa Claus will show up around 7:30 p.m.
Santa appearances at the Santa House, located at 16 S. State St, are also scheduled for the following dates:

- Saturday, Dec. 4 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
- Saturday, Dec. 11 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
- Sunday, Dec. 12 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Saturday, Dec. 18 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
- Sunday, Dec. 18 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
There will also be a Santa appearance at the State St. Stroll on Dec. 18 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
