Newtown Twp Police Hosting Community Town Hall On Thursdsay
Due to social distancing restrictions, attendance will be limited to 20 people.
NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Newtown Township Police Department will hold a special town hall meeting this Thursday, July 23 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. It will be held at the Newtown Township Administration Building.
Residents from Newtown and Wrightstown townships, which are both served by the department, are invited to attend the town hall. Due to social distancing restrictions, attendance will be limited to 20 people.
"Find out about policing in your neighborhood, get an overview of our township Police Operations, how we uphold the highest ethical standards, promote accountability in our department and profession, and strengthen constructive community engagement," the department said.

Those in attendance will be able to ask questions to the chief of police as well as officers.
"This is an opportunity to open the dialogue between our police and our community members, meet new friends & neighbors, and discover that we are all in this together," the department said in its announcement.
