Newtown's Bunker Band Rocks State Street With The Classics
The band - made up of several familiar faces - closed out this year's 'Music On The Street' series presented by Opus Elite.

NEWTOWN BOROUGH, PA - The Bunker Band put the cherry on top of another successful "Music On The Street" summer concert season.
Performing on Thursday evening, the band of locals turned up the volume with a performance of classic rock hits from “Some Kind of Wonderful” to “Black Magic Woman” to “Comfortably Numb.”
The band - made up of several familiar faces - closed out this year’s summer concert series presented by Opus Elite and the Opus Outreach Foundation.

“It’s been a great turnout this year. And the bands and musicians have been awesome - one better than the next,” said organizer Mark Gatta of Opus Elite. “And we made money for the foundation, which is great.”
The band features the ridiculously talented Bill Sheffer on bass and vocals, Harry Betz shredding on lead guitar, Brad Wexler rocking the keyboard, harmonica, and vocals, Paul Venanzi bringing the house down as lead singer, Dave Peel pounding away on drums and vocals, John Sophy, vocals extraordinaire.; and Fred Poritsky, Latin Percussion.
