PAINTING HOPE: Youth Art Show for a cause. Empowered with paint brushes, Bucks County youth are painting hope. Each of the 29 aspiring young artists has their own individual painting on display for the art show. They have also worked together to create 3 collaborative paintings to put on silent auction to raise funds for non profits that pertain to health. Their paining of "Kids Castle, Doylestown" is on silent auction to raise funds for St Jude Children’s Cancer Research Hospital, and their paintings "Camelback Bridge Over the Delaware Canal" and "Limes for Lyme" are on silent auction to benefit PaLyme.org. Pennsylvania leads the nation in Lyme Disease Cases, and within PA, Bucks County is the county with the second highest rate of cases. Our youth are at high risk due to outdoor activities. “Painting Hope” runs now through June 30th at Countryside Gallery, 2 South State Street in historic Newtown. The art show also features an "Eye Spy Art" game for visitors of all ages. There will be notecards of each of the student’s paintings on sale. 100% of the notecard sales and silent auction paintings will be donated to St. Jude and PaLyme.org. Bids on the paintings can be made in person or online at youthartsilentauctionbids@aol.com through June 30th 2025. The highest bidder will be notified the first week of July. Admission to Painting Hope is free and smiles are guaranteed. We hope you can attend!
