PENNSYLVANIA – A analysis of the state's very best high schools is available, and shows which public and private institutions are among the top in Pennsylvania.

The information comes from data compiler Niche, which specializes in analyzing top schools and communities.

Niche's compiles its analysis of top schools through academic and student-life data from the US Department of Education along with test scores, and feedback from Niche.com users. You can read the full methodology here.

To come up with the lists, each school received a letter grade in the following categories: Academics; Diversity; Teachers; College Prep; Clubs & Activities; Health & Safety; Administration; Sports; Food; and Resources & Facilities.
