See George Washington Cross The Delaware River This Sunday
The first of two Christmas river crossing reenactments at Washington Crossing Historic Park is this Sunday, Dec. 8.

WASHINGTON CROSSING, PA – If you've always wanted to watch the Christmas crossing reenactment on the Delaware River but can never make it on the actual holiday, this weekend is your chance to see it.
The first of two Christmas river crossing reenactments at Washington Crossing Historic Park is this Sunday, Dec. 8.
The event goes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The actual crossing will happen at approximately 1 p.m.
In addition to the crossing, on that day, there will be special colonial-era activities and demonstrations throughout the historic village.

The cost to attend the Dec. 8 crossing is $8 for adults, $4 for children age five to 11, and free for those under five. A family rate of $20 for two adults and two children is available.
The 67th annual Christmas Day crossing will take place from noon to 3 p.m. on Dec. 25. The actual crossing will happen at approximately 1 p.m. The Christmas Day crossing is free. If you plan to go, it's best to arrive before 1 p.m.

River crossings are contingent upon safe conditions for participants. However, even if conditions do not allow for crossing, ceremonies, speeches and commemorative activities will still take place.
Washington Crossing Historic Park is located at routes 532 and 32 (River Road) in Upper Makefield Township.
