Sleepy Hollow Haunted Acres Unveils Frightful Attractions

The 200-acre family farm is opening its outdoor haunted attractions to the public, with health and safety measures in place.

NEWTOWN, PA — As Halloween approaches, Sleepy Hollow Haunted Acres has opened its outdoor haunted attractions to the public.

The 200-acre family farm on Highland Road officially opened to the public Saturday with two walk-through attractions, a bonfire and live music.

The hayride has been suspended for the season due to the coronavirus pandemic, so you'll have to travel on foot.

Those brave enough to step foot on the farm can venture down into the "The Hollow" and walk through the winding crypts and catacombs of an expansive cemetery that lie beneath the manor.

If that's not enough to satisfy your thrill-seeking tastes, you can enter the gates of "The Field" and wander through the ruins of a bewitched village haunted by the ghosts and outlaws that lived there in the 1800s.
