Supervisors' Review Of Toll Brothers Proposal Pushed Back
Last week, Toll Brothers requested to be removed from the Planning Commission meeting agenda for the same application.

NEWTOWN, PA — Toll Brothers' application in front of the Newtown Township Board of Supervisors for conditional use approval to construct a residential development at Rt. 413 and Twining Bridge Road will be continued to Feb. 26.
The hearing was originally scheduled for Feb. 12 but has been pushed back again.

Toll Brothers is seeking approval for a 45-unit residential development on a 152-acre parcel at Rt. 413 and Twining Bridge Road.
Last week, Toll Brothers requested to be removed from the Planning Commission meeting agenda for the same application. Newtown Township Manager Micah Lewis said he expects the application will be heard at the Feb.18 Planning Commission meeting.

Conditional use approval is required because Toll is proposing to use a cluster option when configuring the development.
The application previously included an onsite wastewater treatment facility but the board recently approved a revised Sewage Facilities Plan that will allow it to connect to the public sewer system.
Last year, an informal proposal from Toll Brothers to construct more than 170 residential units on the same property was overwhelmingly opposed by township residents in attendance at a public meeting.
That plan would have required a zoning amendment.
