Thefts At Ace Hardware, Lululemon Under Investigation In Newtown Twp.

Charges are pending against a driver after police found suspected narcotics during a traffic stop on the Newtown Bypass.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Newtown Township Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests between Jan. 31 and Feb. 5

January 31

  • Police were contacted for a retail theft that occurred at Ace Hardware on December 17, 2024. The investigation is ongoing.

February 1

  • Police were dispatched to the Lululemon store in the Village at Newtown Shopping Center around 11:30 a.m. for a retail theft. The investigation is ongoing.

February 4

  • A Wrightstown Township resident stopped at police headquarters at 12:45 p.m. to report a theft. The investigation is ongoing.

February 5

  • At approximately 4:15 a.m. police conducted a traffic stop on the driver of a Hyundai for committing a vehicle code violation at the Newtown Bypass and Summit Trace Road. As a result of the investigation, suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia were discovered and seized as evidence. Charges are pending.
