NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — With a recent surge in thefts from vehicles in Newtown and surrounding areas, law enforcement is urging vehicle owners to take the following precautions.
Every night at 9 p.m., take a few minutes to run through this safety checklist:.
- Lock your residential windows and doors.
- Remove all valuables from your vehicle.
- Lock your vehicles.
- Turn on exterior lights, or install motion-detecting lighting.
- Activate security systems and monitor security cameras.
