Troopers Investigate Hit & Run Crash in Lower Makefield
Two vehicles fled the scene of a hit and run crash that happened on I-95.

The following information was provided by Pennsylvania State Police Trevose station. It does not imply conviction.
On Aug. 8 at 6:26 p.m., responded to the scene of a three-vehicle crash on the I-95 northbound Exit 49 off ramp at its intersection with Yardley Newtown Road.

Police said the crash involved a chain reaction with one vehicle striking another, which caused the struck vehicle to strike yet another vehicle.
The first vehicle, described as a Blue Nissan Altima with front-end damage, fled the scene westbound on Route 332.

The middle vehicle also attempted to flee the scene southbound on I-95, but the third vehicle followed so the driver stopped just south of the exit.
The middle vehicle’s driver, Kenneth Yordy, 30, of Bensalem, was cited for driving without a license and leaving the scene of a crash. A passenger in his vehicle sustained a minor laceration to her nose, but refused medical treatment.
Anyone with information regarding the Blue Nissan Altima that left the scene should contact the Trevose station at 215-942-3900.
