Unlicensed Juvenile Driver Facing Charges In Upper Makefield
At least five people called authorities in Upper Makefield to report the reckless juvenile driver Wednesday evening, police said.

UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA — A juvenile underage driver who nearly hit a car and crashed into multiple mailboxes is facing several charges following an incident Wednesday evening in the area of Jonathan Way and Jericho Run Drive.
At least five people called Upper Makefield Township Police to report the reckless driver around 5 p.m.
Residents reported the car was speeding and driving recklessly, almost hitting another car and causing several bicyclists and pedestrians to leave the street. When officers arrived, one of the witnesses provided the registration plate of the car, and police were able to identify the address of the owner.

Officers knocked on the door of the residence and no one answered. Another officer reported seeing a juvenile male attempting to leave the home on bicycle through the backyard area towards the canal. Police stopped him, and he admitted he was driving the car without a license.
He also told police he damaged two mailboxes in the 1200 block of Taylorsville Road.

He was transported to Police Headquarters and is facing charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, hit and run accidents, driving without a license, careless driving, reckless driving, and speeding.
His name was not released due to his age.
