WASHINGTON CROSSING, PA — The public Delaware River crossing reenactment at Washington Crossing Historic Park won't be held in person this year due to COVID-19 crowd-size restrictions, but the Friends of Washington Crossing Park have announced plans to premiere a short film on Christmas Day that captures scenes from this year's private reenactment.

The movie will premier on the park's Facebook page and YouTube channel at 10 a.m. on Christmas Day.

The crossing reenactment traditionally draws hundreds of reenactors and thousands of visitors to the park each December. The event reenacts Washington's 1776 Christmas night river crossing.
