Washington Crossing Tree Lighting, Food Drive Upcoming

Residents can enjoy delicious treats, see the night lit up, and give back to neighbors in need in the annual ceremony.

WASHINGTON CROSSING, PA — The Kiwanis Club of Washington Crossing - Yardley is hosting its annual Tree Lighting & Food Drive on Friday, for community members to ring in the holiday season and enjoy some sweet treats together.

The tree lighting will take place at Washington Crossing Historic Park, at the intersection of Route 32 and Route 532. Here's a look at the day's schedule:

  • Hot chocolate and cookies at 3 p.m.
  • Special visit from Santa Claus and pictures with Santa at 3:30 p.m.
  • Tree lighting at 4:30 p.m.

The Upper Makefield Fire Company will also be collecting non-perishable items and baby items for its food drive.
