'Wicked Night' Coming To The Newtown Theatre In March
The special movie event will include a screening of the hit movie "Wicked," along with refreshments and other fun activities.

NEWTOWN, PA — The historic Newtown Theatre will hold “Wicked Night at the Theatre” on Saturday, March 1. The special movie event will include a screening of the hit movie “Wicked,” along with other fun activities.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with the film beginning at 7. In the hour leading up to the movie guests will enjoy one complimentary Wicked-themed drink (one alcoholic and one non) and free popcorn. Special activities during that hour will include trivia, an interactive caption contest, a photo booth, free Wicked-themed cake pops, and tiaras or wands for everyone.
The cost of this special movie event is $27 or $22 for theatre members. Tickets are available at TheNewtownTheatre.com .

“Wicked” is the first installment of a two-part film adaptation of the stage musical of the same name. Set in the Land of Oz before Dorothy’s arrival from Kansas, the film follows Elphaba, the future Wicked Witch of the West, and her friendship with her classmate Galinda, who becomes Glinda the Good.
