'Wizard Of Oz' Returns To The Big Screen At Newtown Theatre
The weekend lineup also includes a performance by the "A Capella Legends The Persuasions," and a show by a spiritual medium.

NEWTOWN, PA — The "Wizard of Oz" returns to the big screen this weekend at the historic Newtown Theatre, one of the oldest, continuously operating movie theaters in the country.
The theatre will also present a performance by "A Cappella Legends The Persuasions" with their soulful five-part harmonies, and will bring a spiritual medium to the stage who will share messages from loved ones.

- "A Cappella Legends The Persuasions” on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 2 p.m. The Persuasions bring their soulful five-part harmonies to Newtown. Blending gospel, soul, early rock and jazz, The Persuasions have performed with icons from Frank Zappa to U2.
- “The Wizard of Oz (1939)” on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 8 p.m. Back on the big screen where it was meant to be seen with the dramatic tornado scene and the transformation of the film from black and white to color.
- “Messages from Your Loved Ones with Spiritual Medium Daniella Schwartz” on Sunday, Nov. 2 at 3 p.m. Schwartz has trained with world-renowned mediums and psychics to refine her gifts and has used the skills that she was taught to create her own unique process for connecting with spirits.
Tickets for all events are available at TheNewtownTheatre.com . Beer, wine, and canned cocktails will be available for purchase at the theatre before and during the shows. The theatre is located at 120 N.
