Four Accomplished Writers To Discuss Their Craft

Volta Center for Writing Arts will present a lively conversation on Writing and Being a Writer titled The Writing Life on Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Bucks County Community College’s Newtown campus in Tyler Hall room 142. The event will start promptly at 7:00 p.m. A dessert reception and book signing will follow. The authors will have their books for purchase. The event is free and open to the public.

Elvis Alves, Terrence Culleton, Lynn Levin and Hayden Saunier comprise the panel. Terrence, Lynn and Hayden are former Bucks County Poets Laureate. Elvis lives in NYC. Combined, the four writers have 25 books published. Katherine Hahn Falk will moderate the panel.

- What drives each person to write and what influences them as they write,
- How they organize and manage their writing time,
- Their generative writing process and if the process differs between genres,
- Their research, editing/revising and method for submitting work.
The belief is that learning how successful writers navigate their writing life can help others focus and adjust their own practice.
