'Yoga At The Market' Returning To Wrightstown Farmer's Market
For the second year, Elle Kaplan of True Yoga will be hosting an outdoor donation-based yoga class for A Love For Life.
WRIGHTSTOWN, PA — Yoga At The Market will be bringing its poses, stretches and deep breathing exercises back to the Wrightstown Farmers Market on Saturday, Sept. 13 as a fundraiser for A Love For Life.
For the second year, Elle Kaplan of True Yoga will be hosting the donation-based yoga class, a collaboration between the Wrightstown Farmers Market and the Newtown-based pancreatic cancer research charity, A Love For Life.
Kaplan will again be joining DJ Vincent Matyi and Ignite Fitness to host the outdoor yoga gathering featuring several morning classes aimed at all levels of yoga experience, from young children who have never tried yoga to those who have a daily practice.

Dance & Movement with Ignite Fitness is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by a yoga stretch at 10:15 a.m. and yoga for everybody at 11 a.m. with DJ Matyi. Don't forget to bring a mat.
“The whole idea is to just bring our Farmers’ Market community together with an amazing yoga instructor who makes everyone feel comfortable, at ease and full of joy,” said Christine Edmonds, the president of A Love for Life. “We loved how everyone just called up their friends, brought yoga mats and blankets, and had a lovely morning stretch last year. They were able to check out all of the many market vendors - buy tomatoes and sunflowers and local honey and bread and mushrooms and really good granola."

According to Edmonds, Elle has been hosting monthly donation yoga classes for A Love for Life for the past decade. Last year, she expanded that to include Yoga at the Market.
“We always dreamed of having an outdoor gathering with music and lots of friends - and the opportunity to again be part of our local farmers market is exciting," she said.

There is a $20 suggested donation, but the yoga event is open to anyone who would like to join in. One hundred percent of the money raised at the event will fund pancreatic cancer research at Penn in honor of Edmond’s husband Kevin and his sister Nora, both of whom died from the disease.
"I’ve been so happy to be part of this organization since the very beginning,” said Kaplan of A Love For Life. “Together we can make a difference - one breath at a time. In community we dance, we move, we breathe, we stretch. We support one another for a greater purpose, and we support A Love for Life."
The public is invited to visit the market, which is held every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the grounds of the Middletown Grange Fair at 576 Penns Park Road in Wrightstown. There are a variety of vendors from local area farms and small businesses.
