Making this list public is a new step by Montgomery County, and is something no other Pennsylvania county has done before. In the past, many counties have instead provided the list of ballots with errors to political parties, who can then reach out to individual voters. This makes the list public outright, in hopes that neighbors and friends can also help voters who have issues when they notice their name on the list.

Even if you don't have an error, you can still check the status of your mail-in ballot through the Pennsylvania Department of State's tracker tool.
