552 Montco Ballots Have 'Deficiencies': See Full List

If there's an issue with your ballot, it's not too late to correct it.

NORRISTOWN, PA — As Election Day begins in Montgomery County and across Pennsylvania, tens of thousands of ballots have already been received by the Board of Elections. Tallying will begin at 8 p.m., when polls close.

But in the meantime, authorities have noted all ballots that have various deficiencies that will not allow them to be counted.

The log, made public this year for the first time by the Montgomery County elections board, has 552 names on it as of Nov. 5.

Voters who see their name on the list should contact the county by utilizing "this "Cancel/Replace” form. The county will allow then voters to correct the error on the ballot.

Common errors on mail-in ballots include "naked" ballots missing the secrecy envelope, a lack of signature, damage to the paper, the wrong date, and issues with voter registration status.
