Concerts Under The Stars Features "Graceland" Tribute

UPPER MERION, TWP — Concerts Under the Stars has returned to the Upper Merion Township Building Park for its 36th season.

An allstar tributed to Paul Simon's "Graceland" is performing from 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday, July 10 at the township building, 175 W. Valley Forge Road.

The concert features basist Bakithi Kumalo and his band.

Kumalo was born in Soweto Township of Johanesburg. He became a top basist accompanying international performers.

He played the bass during and went on tour with Paul Simon's group during the record of Graceland.

The series is co-presented by Ardmore Music Hall, Point Entertainment & Upper Merion Township.

Tickets cost $15 for anyone over age 13.
