Elm and Sterigere Street Road Closures This Week and Next
Elm and Sterigere streets are closing for railroad crossing repairs.
According to the Municipaity of Norristown, CSX will be making railroad crossing repairs and upgrades to West Elm and Sterigere streets this week and next. The roads will be closed while repairs are being made.
The schedule for the closings is as follows:
- West Elm Street between Markley and Astor streets will be closed to all traffic beginning Monday, Oct. 22, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday, Oct. 26
- Sterigere Street between Stanbridge Street and Harding Boulevard will be closed to all traffic beginning Monday, Oct. 29 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. thru Friday, Nov. 3.
Drivers should seek alternate routes during those times.
