Holiday Lighting Ceremony To Be Held At Montgomery Co. Courthouse

The county's Christmas Tree, Menorah, and Kinara will all be lit, and there will be special choir performances.

NORRISTOWN, PA — The Montgomery County Courthouse will be lit up for the holiday season on Monday afternoon during a special lighting ceremony.

The event will take place at 4:30 p.m. outside the courthouse, by the flagpoles at the corner of Airy and Swede streets in Norristown.

"Take in the sights and sounds of the holiday season with Montgomery County," organizers shared in a statement. "Join the County Commissioners as the community rings in the holiday season with the lighting of the County Christmas Tree, Menorah, and Kinara."

County commissioners will be in attendance for brief speeches, while the county choir will perform a wide variety of classic holiday songs.
