Large Sinkhole Forming Again In Upper Merion

The sinkhole issues that have long plagued the local area have returned.

UPPER MERION, PA — Another sinkhole has opened up in Upper Merion, the latest in a lengthy string of related issues that has impacted the area around the King of Prussia Mall with increasing frequency in the last several years.

The latest hole is behind the Walgreens on 119 E. DeKalb Pike.

S. Henderson Road is closed approaching the back of the Walgreens, as well as the stretch of road near the Walgreens drive thru, and the entrance adjacent to the Subway.

Police asked the public to avoid those areas until further notice.

Crews are on the scene but there is no estimated time to resolution.
