Man Wanted For Murder Last Seen In Norristown: U.S. Marshals
U.S. Marshals are conducting a manhunt after the suspect failed to appear in court.

NORRISTOWN, PA — A man wanted for a 2021 killing in Berks County was last seen in Norristown, the U.S. Marshals said on Tuesday.
Kadrise Patience, 30, failed to appear for his court date on Nov. 13. He had originally posted bail after being held for the murder charges.
The incident occurred on June 17, 2021, on the 600 block of N. 10th Street in Reading.

The victim, Orlando Rodriguez, was driven to the hospital by his brother but later died.
Authorities connected Patience to the scene using surveillance footage and an extensive investigation into cell phone tower data and pings to both Patience's and Rodriguez's phone, according to court documents. The two called each other several times in the hours before the shooting, police said.

Patience successfully appealed the case and had it dismissed, with lawyers arguing that the prosecution's evidence was not sufficient to tie the suspected murder weapon to an image of a weapon seen later in a Snapchat post, court documents show.
However, the prosecution later appealed, arguing that the dismissal had not considered all of the evidence. Patience was released on bail but then never appeared for a scheduled status hearing.
