Markley Street To Be Shut Down For Work In Norristown In April

Sewer repair will lead to a road closure during the overnight hours.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Markley Street will be shut down in Norristown for a week in April as work crews repair sewers in the area.

The closure will be in place from Wednesday, April 2 through Friday, April 4 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Drivers will be detoured to Dekalb Pike, Dekalb Street, and Johnson Highway.

Local access will be maintained up the work zone, officials said.

Additional traffic and delays are expected throughout the area.

The Norristown Municipal Waste Authority is leading the work.
