Man Shot, Killed In Norristown Sunday: DA
The Montgomery County District Attorney's Office is investigating the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old man in Norristown on Sunday.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — The Montgomery County District Attorney's Office is investigating the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old man in Norristown on Sunday.
Authorities said that Hamid Boyd, 19, of Norristown, died from multiple gunshot wounds at 6:15 p.m. on Sunday in the 1000 block of Powell Street in Norristown.
Authorities did not report any details about any shooting suspects.

Norristown Police said ShotSpotter detected numerous gunshots in the area of Powell and Spruce Streets on Sunday night.
Police found Boyd suffering from multiple gunshots. They started CPR, and took Boyd to Jefferson Montgomery Einstein Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A joint homicide investigation has been launched by the Norristown Police Department and Montgomery County Detectives.
