'Montco Votes' Stickers Designed By Norristown, Pottstown Students
Students and a local art nonprofit designed this year's stickers, which will be given to voters at all Montco precincts on Election Day.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Montgomery County authorities are working a local nonprofit and rising young artists in area schools to produce their "Montco Votes" stickers for this year's election season.
Voters in all 426 precincts across Montgomery County will receive the unique stickers.
The nonprofit, Fresh Artists, gathered submissions from more than 750 K-12 students in the Norristown and Pottstown school district before selecting the 45 winners which will be used this fall.

“Fresh Artists is not only bringing beautiful art into our public spaces, but also introducing these students to local government and encouraging them to pursue their artistic talents," Montgomery County Commissioner Jamila Winder said. "Soon, all of Montgomery County will see that talent on display."
The county also sees it as a way to get younger children engaged in the civic process early on.

Students were given the prompt "My Time to Shine" and then created self-portraits of themselves as suns, with the tagline "Montco Votes!" just below.
“Many of these students may not yet be of voting age, but this is a great way to introduce them to civics and local government,” Commissioner Thomas DiBello added. “There’s great power in lifting up our young people and celebrating their talents in a public way like this.”
Fresh Artists is also working with the county to create a community-driven art installation inside the new Justice Center in Norristown, which will open in late 2025.
