Montco's 6 Coronavirus Testing Sites Will Be Closed Next Monday

The county is shutting down its coronavirus testing sites next Monday due to the holiday.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Montgomery County's six coronavirus testing sites will be shut down next Monday, Oct. 12, due to the federal holiday.

Appointments will resume on Tuesday.

Testing sites recently expanded their capacity to handle 50 tests per day at each site, or 300 on a daily basis countywide.

Increased "surveillance" testing has been pointed to as a key reason Montgomery County has been so successful in suppressing the virus. All residents are urged to get tested whether they have symptoms or not.
