Montgomery County Coronavirus Numbers: Town By Town Update

NORRISTOWN, PA — Coronavirus metrics have showed encouraging consistent signs in Montgomery County for weeks now, with the county's rate of positive tests lower than anywhere else in southeastern Pennsylvania.

That rate has now dropped to 3.16, according to county data, notably lower than other local counties.

The overall rate of new cases has remained roughly steady, with the county seemingly reaching a plateau over the last several weeks of about 42 new cases per day.

Countywide, the bulk of new cases remain in the Norristown zip codes of 19403 and 19401, as well as Collegeville's 19426, Lansdale's 19446, and Glenside's 19038. There was also a slight rise in the more rural northwestern part of the county.
