J&J Vaccine To Resume In Montco
Johnson & Johnson doses will start going out again this week in Montgomery County. Here's the latest on the vaccine:

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Montgomery County's progress on vaccine administration may have been slowed by the Johnson & Johnson pause, but providers did their best to move forward with administration using only the Pfizer vaccine.
Case levels continued to rise over the past week, but a plateau could be nearing, according to experts. Variants of the virus are still everywhere, with 186 now confirmed in the county.

J&J doses to resume Wednesday
National health policy leaders met again on Friday to discuss the J&J vaccine, and it has now been "unpaused" in Pennsylvania. Montgomery County had prepared for both outcomes: either a continuation of the pause, or resumption of administering doses. Hoping for the best, the county had already scheduled J&J appointments starting Wednesday. MORE.

Administration slips amid pause
The county was particularly hard hit by the pause, as they'd been slated to receive 10,500 weekly J&J doses. They would've have 16,000 first doses of vaccine available for the general public just this week, if the pause hadn't occurred. MORE.
