KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — The coming "Netflix House" brick and mortar experience at the King of Prussia Mall will open in 2025, a spokesperson for the studio told Patch. The project had been previously announced but no firm date was released.

The Netflix venue will be in the first of its kind in the country alongside a similar locale in the Galleria in Dallas.

The 120,000 square foot space will feature a first floor of two larger experience rooms and a 250-seat theatre. The second floor will include two smaller experience rooms and a marketplace for food and drinks.

"Netflix selected the locations because they are part of two of the most popular shopping centers in America, boasting hundreds of retailers, high foot traffic, and proximity to major cities," the company said. "Both Netflix Houses will occupy former department store locations and span footprints of more than 100,000 square feet."

In King of Prussia, Netflix House will fill the now abandoned, two-story Lord & Taylor space. Outside of the building, fans can expect to see sculptures, a mural with mashups of their favorite Netflix characters, and more.

There will also be unique, customized food and drink offerings to associate with each series or film.

"The venues will bring our beloved stories to life in new, ever-changing, and unexpected ways," Marian Lee, Netflix’s Chief Marketing Officer, said in a previous statement announcing the concept.

Featured experiences include waltzing to an orchestral cover of Ariana Grande on a replica "Bridgerton" set, competing in a Squid Games challenge, and perhaps snacking on some of Eleven's waffles in a "Stranger Things" locale.

An exact opening date has not yet been announced.
