Norristown Artist Wins State Juried Competition
Congratulations to one of Norristown's most talented residents.
NORRISTOWN, PA — An artist from Norristown is among the winners in the statewide art competition in Pennsylvania.
The State Museum of Pennsylvania announced that Norristown's Alison Willse won first place in the Work on Paper category her piece titled "Mouth 2." Take a closer look at her piece here.

Willse was one of a select group of finalists for the awards, which were chosen from a grouping of 2,217 entries.

The 2021 juried exhibition marks more than a half century of celebrating the best work Pennsylvania artists. The competition was launched in 1961.
