Norristown Father, 'So Loved' By Community, Dies At 44

"He had an infectious personality and would light up any room he was in," family say.

NORRISTOWN, PA — A Norristown man who was a father, construction worker, and former teacher, has died suddenly. He was 44.

Brian Olenek was described as "so loved" by his fiancé, children, nieces and nephews, and surrounding community.

"He had an infectious personality and would light up any room he was in," writes Brian's cousin, Jamie Tomasko, in a GoFundMe started for his family. "Brian gave all he had from his heart.

More than $5,000 had been raised as of Thursday afternoon.

"His children were his pride and joy," Jamie added. "When he saw his children there was always a ray of sunshine."

Wrestling was Brian's other great passion. He competed for years and eventually became a state level competitor, inspiring countless others with his love of the sport.
