PA Turnpike Work To Impact 422 Throughout July
Road work will impact traffic along the Route 422 corridor this summer.

UPPER MERION, PA — Construction work on the Pennsylvania Turnpike will lead to restrictions on Route 422 in Montgomery and Chester counties throughout July.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will be completing bridge beam installation along 422 and N. Gulph Road in Upper Merion and Tredyffrin.
Delays are expected and drivers should plan for additional travel time.

The following restrictions are in place:
- Wednesday, July 17, through Friday, July 19, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., a left lane closure with periodic traffic paces is scheduled on eastbound U.S. 422 between 1st Avenue and U.S. 202.
- Wednesday, July 17, through Friday, July 19, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., a left lane closure is scheduled on westbound U.S. 422 between 1st Avenue and U.S. 202.
- Monday, July 22, through Tuesday, July 23, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., a left lane closure is scheduled on westbound U.S. 422 between 1st Avenue and U.S. 202.
- Monday, July 22, through Tuesday, July 23, from 7:00 p.m., to 6:00 a.m., N. Gulph Road will be restricted with flagging in both directions to a single lane southbound between 1st Avenue and U.S. 202.
- Wednesday, July 24, through Friday, July 26, from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., periodic traffic paces with flagging are scheduled on N. Gulph Road in both directions between 1st Avenue and U.S. 202.
